Though I would not consider myself an “avid reader”, when I do read, I’ve always enjoyed reading books which are geared around learning and growing. Below are a list of some of the more influential books I’ve read.
The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People – Stephen Covey
An inspiring book with seven basic philosophies which to live every day by.
Think and Grow Rich – Napoleon Hill
Without a doubt, this really IS the bible for forming and attaining goals.
Jonathan Livingston Seagull – Richard Bach
Illusions – Richard Bach
If you love flying, love things mechanical, and have a bent for philosophy, you too will read every one of Richard Bach’s books. Jonathan and Illusions are the two greatest stand-outs to me, with their short, capturing stories, PACKED with real world philosophies.
Atlas Shrugged – Ayn Rand
A classic piece about unwavering drive within the face of constant fear.
Personality Types – Riso
An objective way of cataloguing basic personality types, as well as their paths to either degradation, or growth. A must read for anyone interested in understanding relationships in an objective way.
Though not a book, I’ve followed this poster on my wall for years now.
You are a Badass – Jen Sincero
Discipline Equals Freedom: Field Manual – Jocko Willink
Ass kickers for achieving goals in life.
