What I Seek
To partly-own, and always grow, a highly ethical company which delivers products and services of obvious value. I seek the privilege of leading a large family of information-technical employees, every day working towards helping the business run effectively and efficiently. I seek to hire great people; to mentor those who aspire to lead, and provide a sense of pride for those who are loyal and hard working employees.
What is Success?
Success is measured simply as “Empowering People.” Empowering our employees to work efficiently, grow as human beings, and live fulfilling lives outside of the company. Ethically empowering our customers with the products and services we sell.
How do we Succeed?
Success is achieved by iterating across three simple concepts…
- People: Hire people who care. Challenge and grow them. Give them a clear sense of mission, and pride. Always remember and plan for the fact that nobody is perfect (and that is OK.)
- Process: Most people do not succeed without guidance. For the everyday employee, create concise processes to follow with clear expectations and exception paths. For the growing leaders, provide leadership, and resources to lead those around them in an ethical way.
- Technology: Use the right tools for the job. Don’t over-build. Stay within budget. Leave the religion for church. Remember that PEOPLE use this technology.
